Wales is one of the best places in the world for mountain biking - see http://www.mbwales.com/

The owner of the Wilderness Wales website has some of the most lovely photos I've seen of our mountain scenery.

Our children learned horse riding skills at this excellent local centre - http://www.cimlariding.co.uk/

The Neath Port Talbot local government website is a good source of local information.

The BBC South West Wales website is another great resource, including links for learning Welsh and information about our well regarded surfing beaches.

Aberavon Beach isn't the best beach in Wales, but we can cycle or kayak to get there, it has good surf and has been awarded Blue Flag status. See the Aberavon Surf Lifesaving Club website for more info and webcam footage.

Neath Valley is home to a beautiful canal, gradually re-opening for leisure access. We use our kayak on the canal quite often - see Jim Shead's website for history, info and photos.

More links soon....
